
About Me
Rose has over 11 years of experience in the architecture & planning industry with an extensive track record specializing in large-scale Commercial (Retail Centers) and Mixed-use projects, from conception to implementation. She takes pride in design managing elaborated mixed-use projects, ranging from 1.5 – 4 million sqft.
Rose oversees the day-to-day design and strategic planning by working closely with professionals to ensure each project is delivered on-budget and in the highest quality. She drives and coordinates major pursuits both domestically and internationally, including projects in Dallas, Houston, Wuhan, Zhuhai, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, by exploring how design can contribute to turn client challenges into competitive advantages.
She integrates retail, residential, office, hotel, and digital experience into one to create exciting pedestrian-oriented destinations. Rose’s exceptional communication and client service skills help her succeed as an excellent designer. A number of her projects have earned prestigious industry awards, such as ICSC China Shopping Center Awards 2015 (China Overseas Plaza-Unipark, CHINA), AIA Merit Award 2018 (Bridgescape – Wuhan Waterfront Conceptual Design, Wuhan, China), etc.
Prior to joining Gensler Los Angeles, Rose worked at notable architectural firms, including The Jerde Partnership Inc. (Los Angeles ) and Aedas Ltd. (Hong Kong). Rose is a California-Licensed Architect and LEED Accredited Professional.
Besides architecture, she has developed a passion for production design and filmmaking over the years. She has co-produced a Hong Kong prime-time television series Plan B in 2017, and production designed The Seventh Lie, an award-winning feature film in 2015.
Rose earned the American Institute of Architects Henry Adams Medal for Excellence of architectural studies with a distinction in Master of American Architecture and Urbanism from USC School of Architecture in the USA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.
